Portfolio Week 13

This week was about argumet, agreein and disagreeing but the most important was the cultural event becuase it had a lot of work in my group. It was a presentation about Hulia. Also the group participated in almost all activities of the meeting.

Portfolio Week 12

In the final of Module O I answer the following questions.

Which were the ones in which you struggled a lot?

• Reported Speech.

In the begining of module P the firts topic to work was Peace Education, the next was titled More guns, Less Crime: Understanding Crime and Gun Control Laws and something of the UNICEF. In this I did execercises about Arguments and Counter Arguments. After in Listening I worked in expressing the point of view.

In grammar the Tag Questions: You are Spanish, aren't you?

This week was the Culturan Event Presentation but It was cancelled because the University was closed.

Portfolio Week 11

This week was about tourism and continue with reported speech and argument and counter argument.

Portfolio Week 10

First I see the same in reading, before yo read, while you read and post-read in this two topics: Smacking Children is Not Harmful and Animal Explotation and see the point of view and answer some questions.

After I learned about modal verbs in reported speech like: advise, agree, apologize, ask, congratulate, decide, invite, ofer, etc. and worked on it.

This week the forum was about take a position and argument if I was in favour or against Madame Bovary's Behaviour, but I did't do this forum because I forgot the last day to do it.

Portfolio Week 9

In this week the the reading was about a text writted by william Shakespeare. Then I did the same with the other modules: Before you read, while reading, after reading. The vocabulary of the text is called slang (is a vocabulary wich is very informal language but not consedered appropiate in formal "correct" English) and its dificult to read.

This week was the Quiz 2 about Reported Speech, I had reviewed this section on grammar again.

Portafio Week 8

First in the module N I take the last things were missing. Some about wiches and regrets. Then that was the Module O.

The objetive is know another type of discurse: Argument. What is my point of view and if I can support arguments. This started with something about cats, after some about link words with information, the next was a exercise about topics, Propouse (To attack, To deferid, To criticize, To suggest, To persuade or To praise), Point of view (a mental actitude o position) and supporting arguments (because it's important for the writer and the reader).

Listening was about Animals and a conversation between Mrs. Hopkins and her husband, he is worried about his sister.

The most important aspect of this week is th Reported Speech, how use it, differences between direct speech and his structure. And last I learned about formal and informal word.
